In March last year, the Anangu Lands Paper Tracker talked with Peter Riley and Sandy Marty about a national initiative called ‘Empowered Communities’, which is about creating a different way for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities to work with each other and with government.

In this week’s program, we get an update on what’s been happening with the “Empowered Communities” initiative.

To find out more, we talk with Andrea Mason, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the NPY Women’s Council, and with Peter Riley who is the Executive Manager of the Empowered Communities Secretariat, for the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands.

The Paper Tracker works hard to provide accurate and up-to-date information. We will correct any inaccurate information as soon as it is brought to our attention. Please contact us if you have additional information or can provide us with an update.
