Interview with Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara interpretation

Today’s interview focuses on what we eat and how it affects our health. In particular, we’ll be continuing our focus on sugar and its effect on our health and wellbeing.

In a previous interview with Damon Gameau who made “That Sugar Film”, we talked about the importance of trying to cut down how much sugar we eat and about trying to make healthier choices.

In this week’s show we find out about the Mai Wiru Sugar Challenge Foundation and about workshops that are being run with Anangu communities to share ideas about staying strong and healthy.

We talk with Kirsten Grace, the Chief Executive Officer of the Mai Wiru Sugar Challenge Foundation, and with Carolyn Dent from SA Community Foodies.
