In this week’s show, we find out about an organisation called InComPro.

InComPro was established in 2010 to provide culturally appropriate services to organisations and communities in South Australia. The founding members of the organisation identified gaps in the available service delivery and began running small programs that focused on family support; later on youth camps were introduced; and then services were introduced for people with substance abuse and mental health issues. More recently the organisation has expanded its services to include culturally sensitive intervention in health and educational services as well as culturally appropriate governance, financial and management services.

To find out more about the work of InComPro and the services it provides, we’re going to be chatting with Steve Edwards who has worked with InComPro for many years, and Michelle Williams who is the Service Coordinator – Community Engagement and APY lands.

If you’d like more information about InComPro, you can visit their website or call them on (08) 7324 5072.
