Food Security

Anangu stores can be expensive places to shop. High prices of food and essential goods often undermine efforts to improve Anangu health and wellbeing.

In December 2010, the South Australian Government released a six-year “food security strategy” for the APY Lands.

The Paper Tracker is monitoring the roll-out of this strategy and other efforts aimed at making sure Anangu families can buy good quality, affordable food and other essential items.
