Community consultations on Forrest Review

The Premier of South Australia has asked the Commissioner for Aboriginal Engagement, Ms Khatija Thomas, to conduct consultations with Aboriginal communities across South Australia about the Review of Indigenous Training and Employment that was led by Mr Andrew Forrest.

The Forrest Review’s report is called “Creating Parity” is available here.

The Commissioner for Aboriginal Engagement has circulated a short discussion paper that includes a schedule of community consultation meetings. Check out the link to this paper if you’d like to know when the consultation will be held in your community.

The community consultation for the APY Lands will be held in Umuwa from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday 30th September.

The Commissioner is keen to receive written or verbal submissions if you’re unable to make it to a community consultation meeting and would like to share your views.
