Stuart McMillan

Stuart McMillan is the Moderator of the Uniting Church’s Northern Synod.

The Northern Synod takes in all of the Northern Territory, the Kimberley region in Western Australia and all of the APY Lands.

In this interview, Stuart discusses the way the church is responding to the calls and prayers of its Anangu members who want to see permanent dialysis chairs located on the APY Lands.

This includes planning for a delegation to travel to Adelaide to lobby the SA Premier (Hon Jay Weatherill MP) and Health Minister (Hon Jack Snelling MP).

Towards the end of the interview, Stuart talks about some of the ways Anangu are raising funds to contribute to the cost of delivering ongoing dialysis treatment on the APY Lands.
