APY Lands: public transportIn 2004, the State Government allocated funding to establish a public transport bus service on the APY Lands. The service is scheduled to start operating within the next month. Read more... Watarru: swimming poolIn 2006, Watarru entered into a shared responsibility agreement (SRA) with the Federal Government for funding to build a swimming pool. Under the terms of the agreement, Watarru is obliged to cover the pool's ongoing costs. A fuel sales levy has been proposed but in Watarru petrol already costs $2.20 a litre. Read more... Pipalyatjara: mechanical workshop for vehicle maintenanceIn 2005, Pipalyatjara entered into a shared responsibility agreement (SRA) for funding to establish a mechanical workshop for vehicle maintenance. APY Lands: Tjungungku Kuranyukutu Palyantjaku's communication strategyIn 2005, a new peak body - Tjungungku Kuranyukutu Palyantjaku (TKP) - was given oversight of the planning and delivery of services to the APY Lands.
