The Maralinga Tjarutja Lands are home to about 100 Anangu, all of whom live in Oak Valley community. Some other Traditional Owners of the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands live at Yalata, Umoona, in communities on the APY Lands or in Western Australia. Each year the State and Federal Governments allocate funding for the delivery and maintenance of services, programs and infrastructure to the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands.
