Umuwa

Umuwa is the main administrative centre for more than 2000 Anangu who live on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands (APY Lands).

Umuwa was established in 1991. A few Anangu families live there.

Each year the State and Federal Governments allocate funding for the delivery and maintenance of services, programs and infrastructure at Umuwa. On this page you will soon find links to detailed information on some of the things that have been promised or allocated to Umuwa.

Governments also deliver services, programs and infrastructure to Umuwa through commitments made at a regional level. Information on these regional commitments can be found on the APY Lands page.

If you know of something that has been promised to Umuwa, we would like to hear from you.
