Amata is a community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands (APY Lands). In the 1960s it was called Musgrave Park. Amata and the surrounding homelands are home to more than 300 Anangu. Each year the State and Federal Governments allocate funding for the delivery and maintenance of services, programs and infrastructure at Amata. On this page you will find links to detailed information on some of the things that have been promised or allocated to this community. Click on a heading for more information: Governments also pledge services, programs and infrastructure to Amata through commitments made at a regional level. Information on these regional commitments can be found on the APY Lands page. If you know of something else that has been promised to Amata, we would like to hear from you.
